Recently TMHRA held it’s annual awards luncheon which recognizes individuals as well as organizations who make a significant impact on our profession.
Each year three awards categories are recognized (Rising Star, Innovation in Municipal Human Resources Management and Professional of the Year). These awards are given based on nominations submitted by TMHRA members.

In addition to the standard awards, this year a fourth was given as well, the Charlie B. Shapard Lifetime Achievement Award. This award winner is nominated and approved by the TMHRA board as an individual who exemplifies and has significantly contributed to the municipal Human Resources profession throughout their extensive career.
